Nankhonde Kasonde-van den Broek is an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Expert.

She is the Founder and Lead Consultant at Nankhonde Kasonde Consultancy, Creative Director at KHONDE (www.khondezambia.com), Founder and CEO at ZANGA African Metrics (www.zangametrics.com).

She is a pioneer in the use of technology to develop affordable, accessible coaching and human capital development solutions for Africa.

Solutions that understand and take into account the mosaic of cultural dimensions and the reality of an emerging market context. Solutions built from African norm groups and generating valuable data for decision making.

Following a decade working in international development and international finance globally, she returned to Zambia to pursue her purpose and desire to contribute to her country’s economy and the wider African development agenda.

Nankhonde is an internationally certified Executive Coach & Organizational change architect. She has over 20 years of experience supporting multinationals, international organizations and Governments.

She is an accomplished professional with a wealth of African, international and multicultural experience in designing and leading large-scale change across multiple sectors.

Nankhonde is the winner of the 2021 Thinkers50 Marshall Goldsmith Coaching & Mentoring award. A coveted global award held every 2 years in London to recognize the management thinkers of our time.

She is a Global Guru, World’s Top 30 Coach for 2021 & 2022. She is member of the Africa List; a group of future African Leaders in emerging markets and a member of the MG100.

She is a Board Member at the Lusaka Apex Medical University in Lusaka, Zambia and a Board Member at Sanlam Life Insurance Zambia Ltd (Part of the Sanlam Group, South Africa).

Nankhonde is a graduate of the renowned HEC Paris Business School (France) & Oxford University (U.K) joint Executive Specialized Masters Degree in Consulting & Coaching for Change.

In addition, she holds an MBA from the African Institute of Management (Dakar, Senegal), an MSc in Management from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi (Quebec, Canada), and a BA in Management from Webster University (Geneva, Switzerland). She is fluent in English and French.

She is married with 2 children.

Danny strongly believes in business as a force for good and has facilitated access to clean energy for over 170,000 people, provided business training to over 500 entrepreneurs, facilitated housing for over 160 refugees. 

As one of the two Founders of the Coach Africa brand, Danny's personal mission is to support 5 million coaches to start or scale their coaching business by 2030.
